Now Offering Echocardiograms
An echocardiogram, or "echo," is an ultrasound of your heart. It uses sound waves to create moving images of your heart's chambers, valves and blood flow. There's no radiation and no needles (unless you add a bubble study), and the exam is completely non-invasive.
We offer three echo options:
Complete transthoracic echocardiogram: a full evaluation of your heart's structure and function, including chambers, valves and blood flow.
Limited echocardiogram: a focused look at specific areas of the heart, often used for targeted assessment or follow-up.
Bubble study (add-on): a small amount of agitated saline is used during the echo to help detect abnormal blood flow or defects such as shunts.
Your physician may recommend an echo if you have symptoms like shortness of breath, a heart murmur, or a history of heart concerns. It's also a valuable tool for keeping tabs on your heart health over time.
Preventative Ultrasound Screenings
Many health concerns develop quietly, without obvious symptoms. Preventative ultrasound screenings give you a clear look at what's happening beneath the surface, so you and your doctor can catch changes early.
Thyroid screening: identifies nodules, inflammation or other abnormalities in the thyroid gland.
Carotid screening: checks for plaque buildup or narrowing in the carotid arteries, the major blood vessels in your neck that supply blood to your brain.
Breast screening: a breast ultrasound that can serve as a baseline or a supplement to routine mammograms, especially for women with dense breast tissue. (If you have current symptoms or a history of breast pathology, we recommend a breast-specific imaging facility.)

Use Your FSA and HSA Dollars Before Year-End
If you have money set aside in a Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account, imaging is a smart way to put it to work.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): Most FSA funds are "use it or lose it," which means unspent dollars typically expire at the end of the plan year. Booking a screening now helps make sure that money doesn't go to waste.
Health Savings Accounts (HSA): HSA funds roll over from year to year, but they're there to be used for qualified medical expenses, including imaging. It's a tax-advantaged way to invest in your health.
Already met your deductible? Many people have hit their deductible by this point in the year. If you've been putting off imaging, now is the time to schedule it before your deductible resets in January.
